![]() ![]() Is a good DLC.Įl Dorado - Is good for custom nations, you can create them with this DLC, so you can build your own country, is a powerful tool. It gives national focus, mechanics totheocracies, buddhists and protestants, free cities to HRE, Vassal interactions and the ability to return provinces. It adds a QoL to assign admirals on sea when they are on range.Ĭommon Sense - Was better when you could develop provinces using it, but is still good because you can update your country levels (duchy/kingdom/empire). But others are good, like Timelines, siege ability from spy network, Steal maps are good, if you want to explore but not spend a whole idea group it can helps. Study Technology is from Cossacks, but the patch changed it. Increase Mercantilism isn't that great, unconditional surrender doesn't make sense, some naval missions are useless just because are naval ones. Mare Nostrum - Some features of this DLC aren't that useful. it gives national focus, but if you have Common Sense you can have it too. if you like republics is worth it, otherwise you can skip. Res Publica - More an immersion pack for republics, gives lots of mechanics for them. And you can have access to Siberian Fronties, strong mechanic with custom nations. Third Rome - Even being a russian immersion pack, it buffs Orthodox a lot, that is basically the best religion in the game, even without the DLC. Flagships are good, but not so decisive, you can live witjout them. Minority Expulsion is a good mechanic if you want to convert culture because of discounts (Culture conversion counts too). Coastal Barrages are good to breach walls without cannons early game. Golden Century - Is a good DLC, but not so much required to play the game. If you like to play muslims, buy it, otherwise isn't worth it. Army professionalism isn't that good and one of this features, regain manpower when disbanding should be free, when you are playing seriously drill isn't a issue and you gain professionalism by recruting generals. But the former is only really viable when you have a good income, they still cannot replace rulers on mana generation and the latter in theory is good, but you can simple integrate the vassal and convert by yourself, excpt colonial nations, but this is more an AI issue (intended, sadly). Is a India immersion pack with lots of features, like CoC, if you like India you will like it too.Ĭradle of Civilization - the only good points of this DLC is the ability to promote advisors and converting vassals. Trade center upgrading is interesting, but is expensive and other things can increase the trade power of a node. Colonizer development is random based, takes a lot of time to develop and bugs the AIs. Autonomous rebellion supression isn't a super needed feature, because you can do it manually just moving a unit. Trade companies are added with Wealth of nations that is much more cheap and have great features for all countries. It adds trade companies and buffs for them, but these buffs are very expensive that dont justify. Naval doctrines are good, but the naval aspect of game isn't good at all.ĭharma - Government reforms are the only saving feature of this DLC and these aren't that great, they add bonuses but they are badly implemented and only the Indians have good reforms. ![]() Anglican isn't a strong religion, the only one good point is that easy to get 100% mercantilism, but development cost discounts are easy to get with all religions. Innovativeness is more an annoyance, but it gives no maluses. Rule Britannia - Except for coal and this is lategame post 1700, there isn't much good for this DLC. Support independence was added by this DLC, but El Dorado gives more features and add this too. There are natives mechanics, so if you want to play as any native american (except mesoamericans and andeans) this is for you. It allows to play colonial nations in scenarios post 1444, but these scenarios aren't updated, so is bad. I will rank up the DLCs from the worst to best what I like and prefer to play.Ĭonquest of Paradise - For me this is the worst DLC, the only good thing about it is the random new world, but if you want to play historically, this is skipable. Well, all DLCs have content and are good depending what you are doing, so this is situational. ![]()
